Yes, definitely (you mean sod right, I thought that is how is was spelled but maybe you can spell it both ways)… Sod or saud (if we are both talking about rolled up pieces of lawn-grass) has to be watered extensively for it to grow the way the companies want to… and it has to be grown, cut up, containerized, and then shipped to the places where it is going to be sold (where they have to keep watering it until it is sold)… so a lot more energy and waste goes into the process of putting down grass when you use sod compared to if you just grow grass by speading seeds and letting mostly natural watering by rain make them grow (a little bit with the hose isn’t too bad when you need it)…
