Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited set forth their “Basic Principles On The Environment” document in 1992, pledging to conserve materials and reduce waste wherever possible, to conscientiously assess the environmental impact of new products in development, and to respond to emergencies.  An organization called Trinity Consultants is devoted to assisting chemical and pharmaceutical producers in meeting environmental standards such as the MACT (Maximum Achievable Control Technology) standard.
