Is pesticide treated insulation bad for you?

Yes.  Most of the chemicals found in common pesticides can cause severe health problems in humans after prolonged exposure – which one would undoubtedly receive in living or working in a building with such insulation.  Pesticide side effects include but are not limited to nausea, eye, nose, and throat irritations, headaches, blurred vision, and damage to the central nervous system.
