Is permaculture economically viable?

Permaculture becomes more economically viable if we are committed to the idea. By that I mean, if we are devoted to permaculture, you lose some things in some climates and cultures that you could otherwise have that would be more expensive. If you commit to a permaculture, you would have less imported fruits and vegetables and other subsistence foods that wouldn’t be able to grow in a permaculture. You would, however, live in a far more sustainable and non-damaging manner to help combat the toll we have taken on the world.
