This depends on the perfume and your skin. Some people do have skin reactions to various perfumes. Those with existing skin conditions can find that they exacerbate the skin. Similarly, not all perfumes are the same. Some are more natural than others and each one has a different combination of ingredients.
The Environmental Working Group urges people to “Use personal care products, detergents, cleansers, and other products that do not contain “fragrance” in the ingredient list – “fragrance” commonly includes the phthalate DEP.”Phthalates have been linked to cancer.
