Many companies are now looking into the carbon footprints of their products, and trying to bring the information to their consumers. PepsiCo did a study last year of the carbon footprint of their Tropicana orange juice product, and are trying to track and lower their carbon emissions. Many companies have trouble putting down an accurate carbon emission because of the numerous factors that go into making their product. Part of the carbon footprint can be seen in what is referred to as Scope 3, the carbon emissions related to employee commute and business related travel.
