Is the Pacific Ocean shrinking or expanding?

The Pacific Ocean is shrinking due to plate tectonics, and the Atlantic Ocean is expanding.  It is a natural process, and while the total volume of the Earth’s oceans are expanding due to the melting of the polar ice caps, the natural shifting of the Earth’s plates are causing what we geographically call the Pacific Ocean to shrink.
