No, the main area where the ozone hole is thinning is the Southern Hemisphere, over Antarctica. It is being made worse (bigger) by the use of CFC chemicals (refrigerants/AC units) and some now say by global warming. The globally warmed layer of sky (called troposphere) is actually making a higher layer of sky (stratosphere) cooler, thus causing ozone depletion. Scientists say the North Pole could start to thin as well. Countries threatend are: Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and Chile and possibly Alaska, Canada and areas of northern Europe.
