Other than krill what do whales eat?

Depending on the species, whales are likely to eat small crustaceans, squids, copepods, amphipods and small schooling fishes. The Orca whale eats larger prey such as seals, penguins, fish (salmon, halibut), and sea lions, but Orcas are actually a member of the dolphin family and technically not a whale.
