Other than Alaska, other states with big oil production are; Louisiana, Texas, California, and New Mexico, to name a few. Louisiana, however, produces the most barrels-per-day in the whole United States.

It isn’t Alaska, anyway – Texas has far more past production and far more reserves than Alaska, or than any other state, and more than the Federal offshore Gulf of Mexico as well.
