Newspaper is one of the easier materials to recycle because it takes less energy to break down, clean, and reform newspaper in comparison to durable materials like glass or plastic. The recycling process for newspaper involves using chemicals to separate the ink from the paper. The paper turned into pulp, cleaned, bleached, and then is mixed with wood pulp to give it form again. It can be a newspaper again with all new headlines one week after getting left on the curb.
