You may want to rephrase your question, and pinpoint what energy you are talking about. As for New York, for which I’m assuming you are referring to the city, it uses a complex electrical infrastructure to light up all the skyscrapers and such that house millions of people. Something to note: because of the large power consumption for the relatively small area, power outages are a concern for the city, and some can last for many hours at a time. New York City, like many major cities, are looking for better ways to supplement their existing power system with cost-effective, renewable sources.
