While the current largest wind turbine (E-126) is destined to be topped by an even larger and more efficient turbine in Norway, both of these are not necessarily the most efficient. While their enormous size secures a great amount of power production ability, it does not always mean it is the most efficient in terms of conversion of wind to usable energy. In fact, smaller and more technical turbines are much more likely to be of greater efficiency. Usually the much larger turbines lack the possibility to be of equal technical advancements of the smaller versions due to the scale of the size to costs.
