My BIG Elm tree has wetwood disease is there anything I can do?

    No effective measures exist to eliminate wetwood disease.  However, preventing stress and damage to the tree’s roots and stem is the best way to avoid having a serious problem.  It is important that the tree receives an adequate amount of water, especially now that it is summer.  If the tree shows nutrient deficiencies, you can fertilize it.  For more information on the disease itself and additional prevention methods, see the link attached below.
