Is oil more expensive than natural gas?

Yes. Oil is priced at about $77.43 per barrel, having raised by about 40% since the beginning of 2009. Natural gas sells at about 1/3 of that, so about $25 in comparison to crude oil. Either way, we’re running out of both fast, so we can really only expect that prices will increase over the years to come unless we find a more sustainable way to use both, or produce a self-sustaining energy.
