Yes, it does have a milder favor. It is more similar in taste to beef and more versitle for recipes. You cook it in a similar fashion. Do not overcook these meats.
Moose meat has been compared to veal. The flesh of the Moose contains protein levels similar to different red meats such as beef, deer, and elk. The meat of a Moose seems to be very multi-faceted.
In addition, moose meat has been described as very lean meat and not at “gamey”–which is comparable to a musty–tasting as deer meat. However, deer meat (venison) is far more common than moose meat, which cannot be commercially sold.
