Methane is 20 times more effective in trapping heat than carbon dioxide. It is highly combustible if in high concentrations in the air. Inhalation of it may cause suffocation because it reduces the amount of oxygen inhaled. Methane, as natural gas, is one of the several non-renewable energy sources human use. The extraction and delivery of natural have impacted many wildlife habitats.
