From a manufacturing standpoint what is the greenest car?

    I can’t point to any one car in particular, but I will say that converting a car to run on electricity is a much lower-impact option than buying a completely new car. Plus, electric motors last longer than internal combustion engines, so they can be transferred to a new car body if the old one rusts. Margaret and Gordon did this with their motor. Many people (including my dad) have converted old Saturns, which have plastic bodies that will never rust. You can read more about their stories here:
