Is making jet fuel worse for the environment than gasoline?

They basically go through the same processing (with somewhat different steps) in a refinery; they are co-products of oil refining rather than separately made products. Much more gasoline is made (about 5 times as much as jet fuel) from a barrel so I guess you could say that the volume factor alone makes it worse. Much more gasoline is burned, so that aspect of gasoline, in terms of volume, is definitely worse.
