I like this question! A lot of people would argue no, that biomass is just organic matter(usually plants) that can be converted into fuel like corn for example. Others would argue yes, that by creating huge crops of corn is bad for biodiversity and causes a monoculture in our fields eventually causing environmental issues. Others are just concerned about prices going up and how the demand can cause over harvesting and deforestation. I think that everyone has a lot of concerns with this issue and there are a lot of ideas to make it work and a lot of ways for it to fail.
