No, low carbon ice cream is not currently available; however, Unilever is one company working towards making low carbon ice cream. Unilever owns such companies as, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, Lipton teas and Hellmann’s mayonnaise so consumers are hoping that their low carbon ice cream is better tasting then freeze-dried NASA ice cream. The low carbon ice cream will be shipped and stored in stores at room tempters, then consumers freeze the ice cream before eating.
