There is the same amount of toxic waste buried at Love Canal as before but it has been capped, buried, fenced, etc. It is now a subdivision of houses called Black Creek Village (somehow that is funny seeing as the chemicals could create a black creek). The EPA and Hooker Chemical Company found it was too risky to remove the drums and there fore left them. So, the same pollution remains as before, it is just trapped a little better and maybe for longer.
