Looking for guidelines to developing a local green-initiative scholarship/bursary.

Any links to online information for criteria to develop an annual award (up to $1000) for green community ventures would be helpful.

The first place that I would recommend probing would be the ASRT site’s .pdf download on the generic mechanisms for developing scholarships.  Also, check out the way that other organizations and companies are providing grants/scholarships.  The first cite is for Home Depot’s grant.  The second cite is for the Fields of Green competition.

You can check with local organizations as well, such as school districts.  Your Chamber of Commerce would probably have information and can maybe help to establish your scholarship if it is part of an existing organization.  They would probably at least know the ins and outs of paperwork to get your started.
