Is liver disease or kidney disease more dangerous?

Both are quite dangerous and can be deadly, but of the two, kidney disease is likely the least dangerous, so long as both kidneys were not affected. The diseased kidney can be removed, and the person could survive with only one kidney. A person could not survive with a diseased liver without a full transplant, which is very hard to come by.
