There is plenty of demand for plug-in hybrid vehicles to go around. According to a recent study, 48% of American consumers would be interested in a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. A large portion of those interested are also willing to pay a premium for a plug-in hybrid over the cost of a similar gasoline vehicle.
These two cars are in competition as they are made by two different companies Car companies are generally in competition with one another. It is a good thing that these two brands are in competition to see who can make the most efficient electric car.
