Michigan’s Ecology Center examined 400 products using an X-ray fluorescence analyzer and found that the presence of toxic chemicals is “widespread in everyday consumer products.” An organization called Healthy Stuff looked at an even wider range of 5,000 products. Most of the results revealed more than healthy levels of lead in addition to PVC.
