Is the lack biodiversity causing climate change to be worse?

The effects of climate change on biodiversity are obvious: some species are no longer able to survive. In terms of lack of tree species biodiversity, there is a direct effect on climate change, making its effects worse indeed. Although the climate change debate has been attributed to anthropogenic action, we can also work to offset the lack of biodiversity by planting trees, breeding fish, etc.
