Kraft has been working with different organizations for a few years now in attempts to green up their act. Kraft is actually launching a sustainable chocolate line. They will be using chocolate from the Rainforest Alliance which helps grow the food sustainably as well ensure fair wages. Kraft also has been working for more fair and sustainable coffee production, as well as using recycled material in their cardboard boxes
They are definitely making good progress. I refused to buy KRAFT for a lot of years because they used to be owned by the tobacco company that produces Marlboro. Cigarettes are one of the worst inventions and it’s ridiculous that they are still produced (in my opinion). Recently though, KRAFT has split from the parent company and is now its own. That step is huge in the foundation philosophy.
