Is it true that green-collar jobs are unlikely to be outsourced?

    Yes. it’s true by the natural of the jobs we’re talking about. For example, weatherizing a home can’t be outsourced because you can’t just put the house on a ship send it to China and then ship it back. The same is true about solar panel installation. Another example is wind turbines. Conventional horizontal axis wind turbines that are used in wind farms are so large that shipping costs are prohibitive; it just makes more financial sense to build them near where you are going to use them.
