    Unfortunately, it is too late. Garlic should be planted in the fall for best results. It needs the winter’s cold temperatures before it is ready for its summer harvest. Garlic can be planted in the spring, but it will require more work. Since it usually is underground during winter, spring garlic should be chilled in the refridgerator for 8 weeks before planting.
