Is it safe to ride a motorcycle in the rain?

Motorcycles would face the same risks as a car would when driving in the rain. The road would be more slick and visibility would be down. The motorcyclist might be in more danger simply because it would be even harder for a driver to spot him/her due to the rain.

No. Here are three reasons why not.

    1) You don’t have windshield wipers on your helmet, so it can be very difficult to see.

    2) The risk of slipping or hydroplaning increases with two wheels instead of four.

    3) Because you don’t have any protection from the rain, you will likely be distracted.

For these reasons, it’s much safer to drive your car when it’s raining.
