According to the people of Orange County, CA, yes. Since the 1960s, the Water Replenishment District has used extensively processed reclaimed water to replenish their groundwater supply, and apparently have not seen any ill effects. Since the water is naturally filtered by the soil as it moves through the ground, reintroducing reclaimed water into the ground can actually be seen as an additional step in the treatment process. Moreover, certain nutrients, such as nitrogen and phosphorus often appear in higher quantities in reclaimed water, so filtering reclaimed water through the ground may even enrich the soil.
I agree with what maddie mentioned, especially since I live in Orange County, CA. We have been using reclaimed water for years, and there haven’t been any negative impacts.
