Is it okay to water plants with collected shower water?

    Greywater is the term used for water collected from baths, showers, hand basins and washing machines. Using greywater to water plants is actually quite common. However, you have to be careful about what chemicals get into the water. Sometimes we use cleaning products that are toxic, if that gets to the plants, greywater may end up doing more damage than good.
