I think it is most important to have natural biodiversity because this makes the ecosystem more resilient against climate change, diseases, geological changes. Crop diversity is important against pests and diseases. A farm with just one type of crop can be wiped out completely if a new disease infects the species. This is the same with a fish farm or cattle farm. Natural biodiversity is most important because it maintains the ecological services that all life depend on: water, air, land and food.
