Is it more eco-friendly to work from home?

    “Telecommuting is a growing trend, that eco-smart bosses and workers everywhere are giving this carbon-footprint-shrinking solution a go.” Working from home can be good for the environment as it saves us gas and money. Not only this, telecommuting jobs can also work to lower the overall gas emissions in the world.

    Yes, it is. The reason for this is mainly because you don’t have to travel to work. By taking a car or bus, you are responsible for carbon dioxide emissions and thus contribute to global warming. The only case where this wouldn’t be true is if you work close enough to home that you can walk or bike there. Additionally, if you use public transportation to get to work, your transportation emissions are very low. But in general, working from home is more environmentally friendly.
