Is it good for the surrounding area if I have a beehive in a tree at my house?

As long as it’s not too close to your house and they are not stinging you then yes, it’s great! Bees present in a certain environment contribute to polinating virtually any blooming plant and, if nectar is present, will produce honey. Having bees is a great sign that your area is thriving and able to sustain life. Bees will not only help keep your plants healthy, they can also help to restore native plant species. These plants provide food and shelter for wildlife in the area and are also a vital part of erosion control. Enjoy your bees!
