Hanging tomatoes plantes upside down can have many benefits. It allows for better air circulation which leads to less disease and less rot. There are less problems with slugs and other insects found in soil, and weeds are almost no problem. Furthermore, it makes the plants less accessible to animals that eat tomatoes and tomato plants. When low of space, hanging tomato plants is a good option.
