Sometimes. Vegans (obviously!) are generally more concious of what they eat, because they are trying to keep certain foods out of their diet, but also because they need to retain important nutrients that they would normally get through eating animal products. Protein is the most important in a vegan diet, since protein is most often lacking. Luckily, there are many other ways to get the correct amount of protein in a vegan diet that is probably healthier than eating animal products, including beans, soy, tofu, peanut butter… the list goes on! Other than that, a vegan diet can be very delicious and nutritious; vegan recipes can be easy, too!
