Is it dangerous to have bees near your house?

Well you don’t want them building on your house, since they will become defensive to protect their colony. Anywhere that you or your family uses frequently should be kept Bee free, so be sure to check around your yard at least once a month. If you just see bees on flowers, and no hive, then you are probably fine as long as you don’t provoke them. If there is a nest within your yard, make sure to contact a professional about removal. Honey bees will die after stinging and prefer to use it as a last defense, showing cautionary signs instead. They also rarely ever attack without being provoked. Hornets and Wasps on the other hand, you definetly want to steer clear of and ensure you can get them removed immediately.
