The cost of this conversion will probably be around $13,000. In one sense, that’s almost as much as another whole car! On the other hand, the new hybrid will burn even less fuel. So in the end, it’s not that cost effective to go through with the conversion because the cost of the conversion will not equal the cost of the expenses that you would incur if you did not go through with the conversion. In the end it is up to the driver to make the decision as to whether or not he/she wants to spend that much money on a conversion or just stick to the hybrid vehicle as it is.
