Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me and tell me more about the my question. Thank You
If you have a recycling collection bin at your home or near your home, then it shouldn’t really matter whether or not it is cheaper because it would be the same effort as throwing away the trash in a garbage bin.
In terms of cost effectiveness though, the more people recycle, cheaper it becomes. In fact, if run correctly, a recycling plant can cost much less than other methods of waste disposal. In addition, recycling can help to create jobs. For example, for every job in recyclables collection, there are an additional 26 jobs created for its manufacturing and processing.
Plus, recycling is a great way to help the environment from your own home. You save about 17 trees with every ton of paper recycled and each glass bottle recycled equates to fours hours of electricity for a light bulb. There are lots of benefits to recycling and so I certainly believe that it is worth your time to do so.
If having to decide whether to throw a plastic bottle in a recycle bin or trash can is too difficult for someone, then that person is probably not qualified to operate a bottle with a cap in the first place. I say that half tongue-in-cheek. Now, if you live in an area where you have to drive to a recycling station, then it takes a bit more effort, but is still worthwhile. Think, in however many years, if the Earth is a barren wasteland (go to New Jersey to see the future of your state if things stay on course), you’d probably think recycling was worth it :-).
