My vote would be for foil. You can reheat things in the oven in foil, which is convenient, and you can recycle it.
Ziploc bags are good because they are waterproof, however, and you can wash them out and re-use them (foil is probably less durable as it is more likely to tear). Try the new Evolve bags, which are at least made from 25% less plastic.
Another option is tupperware-type containers. While these are still made of petroleum products, they can be re-used over and over again. This is an especially good option if you are re-using the containers that your groceries like yogurt or cream cheese come in. Glass jars from spaghetti sauce are also excellent, as they can be recycled and are not petroleum based.
