If you cookware rusts is there anything to make it safe again for use?

         If your cookware is cast iron, you can just scrub off the rusty spots with an abrasive such as salt or baking soda. Make a mixture of three parts abrasive and one part acid, such as lemon juice or vinegar. The cookware will need to be re-seasoned afterward.
