If you are a larger person do you produce a lot more carbon dioxide?

The amount of carbon dioxide that a person produces is a function of the amount of energy the body uses. Body size is certainly a factor that contributes tot the amount of energy an individual consumes–the larger the mass the more energy is required to maintain the basic metabolic activities to keep a body functioning. However, other factors such as activity level and body composition also impact how much energy a body consumes and how much carbon dioxide is produced.
