The use of natural fertilizers and other environmentally friendly farming techniques preserve the soil’s nutrients, so the soil is able to produce more and for a longer time. According to the UN, about a third of the food produced in the world never reaches the dinner table. I think finding ways to avoid wasting food is more vital to feeding the world.
