If we were to slow down our every day lives could we help the environment?

    It depends on what you mean by “slow down.” If this means that we don’t travel as often and as fast, then yes, it would help the environment, because we would use less fossil fuels. If you mean slowing down our work, then it would likely make little difference, because we would still use the same amount of electricity and other resources. If we slowed down our consumption, then we would do less environmental damage, since our rate of resource consumption would decrease.
