If we used nuclear power would we run out of plutonium?

    Plutonium is a byproduct of uranium, which is the nuclear component in nuclear power. But yes if we used nuclear power we would run out of uranium, which is a finite resource. Currently there is enough available supply for 85 years of energy production at current demands and 500 years of reserves.
