If we used cow patties to burn for heat would there be any dangerous chemicals from it?

Good question, Eleanor.  Burning cow patties releases carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, both harmful chemicals.  The carbon dioxide is actually considered nuetral though, since cow manure would release it when decomposing anyway.  That doesn’t mean it is not nuetral to you, it is still harmful.  So, burning cow patties may be more green than other fuel sources, but it still produces some chemicals.

    Hope this helps!
