If we get rid of the queen bee or the queen termite will the colony collapse?

As far as I can tell this should not be the case. If a queen dies or is removed (a difficult thing to do, as she is often moved if a hive or colony is disturbed) she will often be replaced by a new queen. I wouldn’t advise trying out your own experiment, however– bees can sting and termites can bite.
