If we didn’t have the Prius what would our national MPG be?

    The Prius in the US only has a market share of around 0.36%. It is estimated that there are 234.5 million cars in the US, out of which only about 850000 is Toyota’s Prius. This means that it is insignificant enough to make any noticeable change in national mpg.
